About Glenn Renell

A native of the Northeastern U.S., Renell studied art at the Rhode Island School of Design and University of Massachusetts. After a tour in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy, Renell's style evolved from abstract to landscape painting, today indulging in the color and texture of the Southwest landscape around his home in Arizona. Renell recently retired from teaching at the Maine College of Art.
